Setting the tone with a cerebral, industrial energy, a pulsating beat which feels both dimensional and enticing, Horizonte Lied open the Bloodrush Version of Iluminado with vigour and intrigue.
A wave of mesmerizing vocals immerse us as the band take us on a dark wave, electronica trip through their reality. The creators include Alex Ezert on production, programming, keyboards, and backing vocals; Bernardo Garza on keyboards, percussions, and sound design, whilst Jesús Logar performs lead vocals, keyboards, and shares his vibe with sound design.
We appreciate the textured energy of the composition, it’s ebbs and flows and the authenticity that the band convey with their message. Speaking on the message of Iluminado, the band confess, “It’s about focusing on a positive light in a dark and confusing time.”
Speaking on the expansive nature of the single which features multiple different versions. The band tell us, “We wanted to release an alternate version for promoting this single, with a more energetic presence and tension, while also retaining a radio-friendly approach with the dark atmosphere.”
Horizonte Lied cite Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Recoil, Soda Stereo, Clan of Xymox, Cause and Effect, Simple minds, A-HA, Duran Duran, and Rush as influences, but it is clear they are creating a universe of their own.
We connect with the depth of effort that has gone into what they are creating, and the alternative versions are all unique in their own distinct way yet retains that vampiric chic essence. We love the detail upon hearing the fully instrumental versions, but truly each unique track is a masterpiece in its own right. We have added the Bloodrush Version of Iluminado to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream the full offering of the single!
