Setting the tone with a rising, immersive guitar soundscape, Elijah Daun opens Lost In Translation with a cerebral and self-realized energy as he shares the prose, “I try to be honest whenever I can, I try to be genuine that was the plan, but not everyone believes what they see, especially an alien fairy 300 degrees…”
The opus expands with poetic prowess and intentional depth, as the rising artist from Connersville, Indiana, showcases his epic flow and high emotional quotient. Needless to say we are in awe. We appreciate Elijah Daun‘s charismatic delivery and the vocal design of the choruses which almost lend themselves to a Daft Punk-esque vibe.
With reference to his genre, Elijah Daun assertively says, “Fiction. It’s don’t like to define myself by any genre because I strive to make whatever I like. What I really enjoy is storytelling through music. Not about my life, necessarily, but some story I’ve made up in my head or from a movie or show I’ve seen or a book or poem I’m writing. It’s just how I like to express my creativity.”
We have added Lost In Translation to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to explore Elijah Daun‘s wider discography, including Alien Nation and Harley Quinn, and anticipate the releases of his upcoming EP, Mr. Universe.
