Setting the tone with an elegant acoustic guitar, Carson Aday opens Chest Pain with the self-realized lyrics, “I’m digging deeper every day, to escape all this chest pain, I can’t believe a word I say, so I flush intrusive thoughts straight down the drain…”
The opus expands with poetic prowess and depth to take us on an intimate journey through the mind and spirit of our protagonist, as he shares a cathartic message of healing and remembers “the joys of a relationship while expanding on the hurt left in its absence.”
We love Carson Aday‘s vocal timbre and authenticity, and learn that the composition is produced with multi-platinum, Grammy-Award-winning Mikal Blue! The build of the track is simply exquisite, and needless to say we are in awe of the overarching energy that Carson shares.
The rising artist, who began writing music in 2019 after turning away from his future as a concert pianist, cites The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Billie Eilish, and Harry Styles as some of his influences, although it is clear that Carson Aday is creating a universe of his own.
We have added the emotive and transcendental Chest Pain to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream Carson Aday‘s wider discography including his album and single, Midnight on a Flower Moon, as well as She Took Your Heart and Ran!
