Setting the tone with a luscious and dimensional art rock soundscape, Liv Crash opens You Fool (Mad) with intrigue, and atmospheric vocals as he sings the introspective prose, “You fool, you tried to hold on but she was long gone, you fool, you tried to make it right, but all was wrong, you fool…”
The opus expands with depth and a self-realized energy as the star shares his perspective on a love connection. Speaking on the message of the track, recorded at Lepark Studios in Milan, Liv Crash confesses, “You Fool (Mad) is about people fighting for love even when defeated.”
We deeply appreciate the poetic prowess and charismatic vocal delivery from the star, and learn that You Fool (Mad) is the third of four singles, with the fourth single due out on May 5, which introduce Liv Crash‘s upcoming debut LP, ‘Cause Even in This Album!
We are in awe of the guitar solo, which Liv Crash performs as well as writing and producing his music! The rising artist tell us, “My sound is influenced by rock, funk and jazz”, and cites David Gilmore, Mark Knopfler, Jimi Hendrix, and John Petrucci as influences, which we can feel come though in his artistry, although it is clear that Liv is creating a sonic world of his own!
On a more holistic note, Liv Crash believes that “life is short and enjoys spreading positivity and irony through his lyrics and accompaniment.” We love what Liv is sharing with the world, and have added You Fool (Mad) to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream his wider discography and anticipate the upcoming album!
