Setting the tone with immersive keys, Ilan Bell opens Through It All with intrigue and atmospheric vocals, as he shares metaphorical prose with emotion and depth. The opus expands with an elegant energy, into a dimensional and transcendental pop soundscape, with a timeless aesthetic that evokes nostalgia and relatability as Ilan Bell assures us with his message of solidarity.
We learn that the piano ballad was co-produced with Grammy award-winning producer Paul Falcone (Jay-Z, Beyonce, Tom Odell), which we can feel come through in the sound design and anthemic nature of the composition. We appreciate the poetic prowess that the rising artist from New York shares with his debut, and it is clear that Ilan Bell has a deep understanding of love and songwriting.
Based out of New York City, Ilan Bell is an independent artist who is set to release his debut album, American Love, featuring “a series of understated ballads alongside more anthemic tracks that callback to the 60s and 70s while still pushing the sonic envelope.”
As a writer-producer, Ilan Bell has already written and produced for several artists including Juliette Reilly, Shakthisree Gopalan, and Greer Baxter. He also played a leading role in helping launch Anti Social Camp – the largest songwriting camp in New York City history, hosted by hit-producer Danny Ross.
We love the authenticity and depth that Ilan Bell with his emotive debut, and have added Through It All to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we anticipate his album, American Love!
