We recently featured Claire Bigley for her composition Embodiment, a powerful piano piece designed to invoke the feeling of community, so when we heard that the rising artist had just released a cello duet for the song with Jami Sieber, we couldn’t wait to experience it!
Speaking on the release, Claire Bigley confesses, “While recording the piano tracks to this I always heard cello with it and I was lucky be able to collaborate with Jami Sieber.”
She adds with passion, “I love how the two instruments dance and enhance one another on this track. I find it beautifully heartwrenching.”
The emotive energy of the piece is certainly heightened, with exquisite performances from both artists. We are taken on an a celestial journey, which starts bold and almost traditionally, taking us to a meditative and almost haunting space with the unique and dimensional cello performance, showcasing the epic range of the instrument fused with Claire’s evolving sound.
As a newcomer to the New Age Piano genre, we learn that Claire Bigley‘s music is created with the “intention of calming and nourishing the listener.” The overall experience is transcendental, we are drawn into her universe and are here to stay.
