We recently featured sunset + mine for their moving and connected single, All My Hope, so when we heard that they had just released the brand new, Time & Space, we couldn’t wait to experience it!
Drawing us in with an astral and immersive synthscape, sunset + mine open Time & Space with charm and intrigue as they share the opening lyrics, “Two kids alone we’re hiding, nine thousand miles away, palm trees are intertwining, desperate to touch the sky…”
We are immediately transported to a utopian dimension as the duo create a cohesive sonic landscape and visual lyricism, designed to evoke a transcendental feeling. The opus holds a tropical house vibe as the husband and wife duo share their authenticity and romantic nature with us.
The build of the track is exquisite and we love the rippling nature of the production fused with the ethereal vocals and intricately designed strings finale.
Speaking on the release, sunset + mine confess, “For years we’ve longed to release a pop project together. We finally took the leap to share our heart and create this countercultural breath of fresh air. We can’t wait to make you smile!”
We are in awe of the energy that sunset + mine create with their artistry and the tapestry of sound that they deliver. Time & Space has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream their wider discography including All My Hope and Honey Let’s Go.
