The opus expands into a meaningful alternative country meets folk rock energy, as the rising artist from South-East London shares his soul and perspective. We learn that The Other Side was created with the intention “to help and inspire others to take positive action when they are going through a difficult time.”
We love the harmonies and the build of the track, and feel that the composition exudes a cathartic energy for both artist and listener, and we deeply appreciate the poetic nuance and depth that Christian Larsmon delivers with the song. Unsurprisingly, Christian has been getting some radio attention over the past year after releasing his live album.
The Other Side forms part of Christian Larsmon‘s upcoming EP, Dark Before The Dawn which is set to be released in Spring 2023. On the EP, Christian invites us on a journey exploring mental health struggles and coming out on the other side to tell the tale. Speaking on his artistry, the talented artist confesses, “I’ve really had to dig deep into my soul to create this EP. It’s raw, authentic and definitely vulnerable. I hope others can draw strength from it and feel more comfortable with opening up about their struggles.”
