Dorian takes us on an empowering trip with Radio Edit of new single, Blast Off

It has been an incredibly creative year for Dorian with the releases of Proud, Do Ya, and Reign Love, and his records, The Arrival: Dream World Part 2, and 33, so when we heard that the visionary artist had just released the Radio Edit of his brand new single, Blast Off, we couldn’t wait to experience it!

Immersing us with a bold and dimensional bassline, Dorian opens Blast Off with layered vocals as he sings, “The thought we couldn’t do it but we did, they said it was a phase but we’re here, you and I…”

The composition expands into the empowering energy that we have come to love from Dorian who uses a robust soundscape, luscious harmonies and backing vocals and his own brand of narrative-driven poetic prowess to take us on a thought-provoking and inspiring journey.

Blast Off is taken from the Deluxe Edition of Dorian‘s project 33, which also features an A Capella version of the anthem. We are in awe of Dorian’s vocal timbre and the nuanced echos that add a cosmic edge to the composition. His flow is intricate and on parr with some of the greatest pop and R&B singers in history.

The message is designed for us to believe in ourselves, take risks, “spread your wings” and take the chance to be your ultimate self. We have added the Radio Edit of Blast Off to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream 33 in full!
