Setting the tone with an immersive and orchestral energy, before expanding into an acid jazz meets neo-soul soundscape with pulsating drums, Bravo Bonez opens TREASON with intrigue and dimensionality.
The opus evolves to feature Alba Rose‘s atmospheric and charismatic vocals, cohesively fused with exquisite production and laced with poetic nuance and depth.
We are in awe of the dramatic nature of TREASON, and it is no surprise that the composition has already been likened to a James Bond theme and the Brand New Heavies, but it is clear that Bravo Bonez and Alba Rose are creating a universe of their own.
We learn that TREASON is produced by Greg Haver and Bravo Bonez, mixed by Simon Gooding who also performs guitar on the piece, with additional bass guitar by Mark Hughes.
The strings production is simply out-of-this-world, delivering a transcendental experience for the listener. The meditative middle eight is refreshing before the final expansion for the reprise. The dynamic composition was recorded at Roundhead Studios (New Zealand) and PureSound Studios (New Zealand) and is mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound (Nashville, USA).
We appreciate the depth and authenticity that Bravo Bonez and Alba Rose share, and we have added TREASON to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to explore the discographies of both artists!
