When enigmatic artist Frank Joshua released his profound, cerebral and emotive masterpiece, Sense Life, we fell deeply in love with the track, Loneliest Place In The World. So when we heard that the artist had just released the Tim Angrave Solitary Version of the moving opus, we couldn’t wait to experience it!
Setting the tone with a meditative frequency, the remix opens with an emotive vibe and synth intricacies with piano detailing teasing the melody of the song, before we experience Frank Joshua‘s luscious vocal timbre.
The rising artist sings the opening line, “It’s sparkling the wet on the track, and all I can hear is the sound of rushing water, it’s nearly the morning, though the night it seems endless…”, and we are once again obsessed.
Loneliest Place In The World is already such an emotional number that this new soundscape gives it an ethereal edge which is truly hypnotizing. Mid-way though the opus, Frank sings the hook and the piano comes back into play reminding us deeply of the original, which cements the original wonderment that the song holds.
Speaking on the writing of Loneliest Place In The World, the star says, “I wrote the track at a very low moment standing on a very empty train platform very early one morning, wondering what my life was doing to me. The hints at the arriving train somehow gave me the hope for the future I was in need of.”
“I hate to admit it but I think this is better than the original version”, he continues with charm.
With the recent slew of releases, Frank Joshua has really proven his diversity as a creator, with each remix being completely unique in its own right, but the quality holding steadfast.
Our only disappointment with the remix is that it feels too short, but good thing we have the repeat button and Frank Joshua‘s exquisite and constantly growing discography that we cannot get enough of! We have added the Tim Angrave Solitary Version of Loneliest Place In The World to our New Music Spotlight playlist!
