First premiered by the eponymous Paper Magazine, NEO 10Y just released the music video for his new single, Spiritual Viagra, “designed to expand love energy with ourselves and beyond”, according to the subversive London-based multi-disciplinary artist.
The music video for Spiritual Viagra is a cosmic trip and hyperreality documentary (an extension of his already immense videography) with artist NEO 10Y, taking us on the journey of finding love when the odds are against us. It’s an optimistic story, filmed on Halloween, a year after the inception of the song, recreating a love at first sight connection.
Speaking on the video, popstar and spiritual revolutionary NEO 10Y confesses, “I finally found love last Halloween on a humxn level, not just the concept of love energy, and released Spiritual Viagra on the numerologically aligned full moon of 10.10.”
He continues, “We filmed the music video this Halloween at the iconic Leake Street Tunnels rave in London where I was performing, and I wanted to release the self-edited visual on the poetic date of 11.11!”
The hyperreality visual for Spiritual Viagra features cinematography by Elana’s Eyes (Elana Joseph), comets, a billboard in London, light energy, sacred geometry, VFX nuances, and a live performance with choreography by NEO 10Y.
Spiritual Viagra holds a timeless yet futuristic energy, as the sometimes controversial pop star, who has performed for Billboard in New York, at the prestigious Secret Garden Party, and from raves to the Roundhouse in Europe and the USA, delivers an anthemic and tantric love song full of raw emotion, sensuality, and dimensionality.
NEO 10Y is known for empowering self-love anthems such as Stan Yourself, Y, Unrelatable Autosexual, and Shortcut To World Peace, so the opening lyric, “My favourite person, well it’s me…”, is quintessential of the artist.
We experience a more romantic side to NEO 10Y, who has flirted with romance on previous singles, ILY and Dopamine, however Spiritual Viagra oozes the essence of love, and NEO 10Y has made it tangible for us all to connect with the lived experience of love at first sight.
