Establishing the mood with a glistening and astral guitar soundscape, before expanding into a timeless industrial rock energy, Attic Theory open Narrow Lines with intrigue and introspective lyricism.
The opus evolves into a thought-provoking and cerebral soundscape, as the Liverpool groove rockers take us on an intricate journey through their minds and the human condition.
We learn that Narrow Lines is the second single from Attic Theory‘s anticipated upcoming album, What We Fear The Most, and has been released in aid of charity CALM. The band will donate 100% of the proceeds received from downloads of the single from their webpage to the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), charity number 1110621. For reference, CALM is a charity uniting the UK against suicide, the leading cause of death among men under the age of 45 in the UK.
Frontman Lewis Wright comments with depth and altruism, “Our aim with the Narrow Lines song and video is to raise more awareness for all those going through difficult times in their lives.”
He continues, “The lyrics talk about how you can feel like you’re trapped in a never-ending loop when going through troubling issues and hopefully the song will encourage the listener to reach out to CALM, who offer help, support and information to anyone who is struggling or in crisis.”
The music video features a cinematic performance from the band, whilst Lewis takes us on a potentially life altering journey to bring to life the concept of the song. We appreciate the poetic nuance of the piece, as well as the charisma that the band shares, which is tangible. The wider message of their artistry gives us a chance to reflect and apply the wisdom of the song to our own lives for catharsis and healing.
We have added Narrow Lines to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to explore Attic Theory‘s wider discography including Tattooed Heart, My Own Design and Your Light.
