We recently featured dzill when he teamed up with Caroline Trugman on the inspiring anthem, Free Yourself, so we couldn’t wait to experience his latest release, Sublime.
Drawing us in with textured persuasion details, dzill opens Sublime with a crisp, dance vocal singing, “Let’s take it back to a time when were so much in love baby….”
The opus expands into a progressive yet nostalgic, deep house hybrid energy, with vibrant synths, a powerful message and soaring vocals. We appreciate the poetic nuance, and the throwback energy, fused with a sense of futurism in the sound design.
The expansion and contraction of the track is seamless and cohesive, with dimensional harmonies, super catchy add libs and a pulsing beat. We also love the airy risers, which add dynamism to the piece.
dzill has been celebrated as one of the premiere DJs in NYC nightlife. Based out of New York City, dzill has received support from big name artists such as Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, Deadmau5, Sam Feldt, Slushii and Sikdope.
As a producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist, he has gained over 500,000+ streams on Spotify, and has performed at some of NYC’s most exclusive parties including venues such as the Museum of Modern Art, Leave Rochelle Out of It and Bleecker Hall, including a weekly open format residency at Solas Bar NYC.
The depth and authenticity that dzill shares with his art is tangible, and we have added Sublime to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream dzill‘s wider discography!
