Setting the tone with vibrant keys and strummed acoustic guitar, leading into an immersive whistle, Skender Beck opens his upcoming single, Stuck In The Sky with dimensionality and a sense of intrigue.
The opus commences with the situational lyrics, “I’m up in the sky, ready to fly, but when I turn my head, I don’t see my wings around…”, and we are transported to Skender Beck‘s alternative dimension soaring above the world as he asks, “Why o why? I’m not falling down…”
Skender Beck tells us that Stuck In The Sky is “an ode to uncertainties of life… hesitant decisions and status quos”, however we love the optimistic edge that the song shares with the concept of being able to soar unsupported.
We learn that this is the first single that Skender Beck is releasing after his Stars Aligned album. The song is sound engineered by Chris Wonzer (Pink, Stone Temple Pilots, Phil Collins, Sting, R.E.M., Deep Purple etc.), and drums are played by Brian Petry, a top rated session GMS Drums Artist. The opus was recorded at The Room Melrose Studios in Los Angeles.
The soundscape of Stuck In The Sky is out of this world, consistent with the message of the song, and we expect a music video on release day, August 26th! In the meantime, you can pre-save the single, by clicking this link.
