Setting the tone with cymbal details, an immersive beat, dynamic bass and dimensional electric guitar, Atomic Bronco opens his new single, Get You Off My Mind with intrigue and the lyrics, “You’ve got the look to trap me babe, and I know it’s true, oh yes it’s true, you’ve got the moves to wow me babe…”
The opus expands to convey the feeling of wanting something that you know if bad for you, but are helpless to resist. We appreciate the soundscape of the composition and the narrative-based story and introspective emotions that one-man-band, Atomic Bronco, also known off-stage as Kyle Nuss.
We learn that Atomic Bronco recently relocated from London to Austin, Texas, and is poised to release more of his signature sound this Fall. Get You Off My Mind follows the success of his previous 2021 EP, Spectrum, which included the hits Cruel and Headfirst.
We are in awe of the instrumental segments of Get You Off My Mind and imagine that fans of The Cure will be able to connect with Atomic Bronco, although it is clear that he is creating a universe of his own. The guitar solo is out of this world and has us in awe.
Atomic Bronco fuses genres including indie, alternative, garage rock, lo-fi and classic rock to create his signature sound, which we have fallen in love with, and we have added Get You Off My Mind to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we stream his wider discography including Cruel and Stranglehold.
