Setting the tone with an enigmatic and textured riser, Venior opens her single Spit Fire with a dimensional and tribal frequency, and conceptual lyricism as she sings, “You know the sign, when it comes we are crawling out…”
We learn that Spit Fire is a song about “reclaiming the mythical spirit of the fire keeper in us. The one tending to the fire of destruction and recreation. Its about understanding what needs the be destroyed and burnt to ashes to become fertile soil, giving birth to new life.”
The track carries a transcendental energy, and we love the notion of connecting with the destructive energy. As the old adage goes, to create, one must destroy.
Speaking in depth on the meaning of track, Venior tells us, “In my sensing it’s a world view of domination over the living world that needs to be transformed into a symbiotic one. One where all life is inter-connected and the wellbeing of one’s self is the wellbeing of all.”
We appreciate this notion of oneness, and further discover that the song was written during a creative period in Venior’s colourful studio in Berlin. We can certainly hear the city in the soundscape.
Spit Fire is the first single from Venior’s debut full length album, the opus is fully created and mixed by the artist herself. The composition comes with a powerful and cinematic visual that has us fully hypnotized.

She mixes wild, experimental beats with heavy bass sounds, powerful vocals and a strong message together with her mysterious and colourful art world which she describes as a portal into the “Neon Pussy Universe”.
Speaking on her intention, she says, “I want to take you on a journey, inspire people to connect to their inner magical and powerful beings and awake curiosity to explore life in a different way. Get ready for the Free-K Revolution!”
