Son.person teams up with Jack Trillmore on intricate and philosophical new single, Deuces

We recently featured the brilliantly talented Son.person as he demonstrated his boundaries on the emotive and hypnotizing, Loved U More, so we were thrilled to see that he had just released a brand new track Deuces, featuring Jack Trillmore.

Setting the mood with immersive layered keys and elegant guitar riffs, Son.person opens Deuces with charming vocal add libs and the situational lyrics, “Bass dumb, stupid sore, shawty look good when she hit the floor, shakedown street, explore, make it downtown, then I break the door…”

Deuces expands into mellow alternative pop soundscape with philosophical lyricism including the memorable line, “hate groups, hating more, see me on top then they waging war…”

We appreciate the poetic nuance that Son.person delivers with his artistry, he touches upon themes of the human condition, abundance, the state of society, anthropology and astrology! His flow and wordplay on the record is refined and philosophical.

Jack Trillmore‘s verse is subversive and focuses more on the physical, juxtaposing Son.person more conceptual narrative. We like the change-up and Jack’s earnest approach and self-realized lyrics.

Summarizing the track, the duo describe Deuces as “F**k the haters… but with a vibe” and a “Summertime essential”, which we totally agree with.

Son. Person is based in Memphis and is quickly gaining traction as the next biggest thing in the city. Having a solid audience across his socials, the rising popstar is quickly building up an impressive streaming audience!

His background in the school of rock and his own malleable commercial soundscape leads to a polished infectious versatile pop sound.

We have added Deuces to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue to stream his wider discography including Loved U More and U Night.
