Establishing the mood with a vibrant saxophone, celestial textures and vocal add libs before expanding into a cohesive and immersive acid-jazz meets contemporary soul energy, Gianfranco GFN opens Hope with intrigue and charm.
Vocalist Paula Bright sings the introspective lyrics, “Someone said imagine because imagination is magic and makes you happy…” fused with the luscious and intricate soundscape composed by Bienne-based Gianfranco GFN.
The opus expands to deliver thought provoking lyricism with atmospheric harmonies. Lyrical highlights include the introspective, “Invisible are the feelings, the sensations, the impressions and the anger, the hate but especially the love…”, and the empowering “Believe that the spirit can make you realize all your wishes if you believe strongly in your heart in your heart…”, which ties together the overall message of the song, which is…Hope!
Speaking on the track, Gianfranco GFN confesses, “Hope is the last song I’m presenting from my new album. The full album will be released and presented this Summer.”
He adds, “This track is danceable, rhythmic, and exudes joy.” The composer’s philosophical message is “Love of life, peace, beauty, authenticity, generosity and tolerance. A heart that feels the ups and downs, the fervour and disappointment, the moods and fantasies. Live your life as if it were the last day of a dream.”
Hope also comes with a music video featuring psychedelic visuals by Alpagrah, which adds dimensionality to the opus and has us truly hypnotized!
We have added Hope to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we explore Gianfranco GFN‘s wider discography including Reporter and So Dance, and await the album TROUBADOUR, due this Summer!
