Establishing the mood with glistening, doubled keys, fused with a synthetic rising frequency, which becomes more dynamic as the opus expands, ReHumanise opens his single Elemental with atmospheric vocals and dimensionality.
Elemental evolves into a new wave, indie synth rock delight with an emotive delivery and a cinematic energy that is captivating and anthemic. ReHumanise, formed in 2020 in Ireland, is the brainchild of Damian Brady, a multi-instrumentalist and producer.
ReHumanise cites acts like Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Smiths as inspirations for his current work, although it is clear that ReHumanise is creating a soundscape of his own.
Speaking on the release, ReHumanise confesses, “Elemental is a love song to a body on an astral plane, wrapped in big drums and funky electro beats. Its ethereal soundscape creates an otherworldly backdrop for the romantic yet out-there lyrical content.”
It is no surprise that under his name Damian Brady, he achieved a top five hit in Ireland in 2017 as a producer and co-writer. Elemental marks ReHumanise‘s fifth solo release since September 2020, and the rising artist plans to continue releasing regularly. ReHumanise is also playing his debut show July 1 at Bello Bar, Dublin.
We love the energy and message that ReHumanise is sharing and have added Elemental to our New Music Spotlight playlist, whilst we continue streaming ReHumanise‘s existing discography including Are you Warm and We Are Strong.
