Setting the tone with immersive keys fused with a celestial frequency and glitched samples, expanding into a danceable dream-pop soundscape, Anthony Benjamin opens his latest single, Summer Months with the lyrics, “We went outside, it changed our lives, everything felt free when the sun shined…”
Serving up a soundscape and vocal production that Daft Punk fans would definitely be able to connect with, we love the glistening synth that really brings to life the lyrics which touch upon freedom, enjoying the organic energy of Summer and falling in love.
Speaking on his release, Anthony says, “Summer Months recounts the story of a summer romance. It relives the experience with bright instrumentation and ethereal production, evoking a sense of nostalgia and hope. The perfect track for a hot summer’s day!”
Anthony is self-taught, English musician based in North London, who has been working on his music with producer Peter Cattermoul (Pete & The Pirates, Teleman). So far, he has released eleven singles and a three-track EP which have been well-received by fans and those in the industry.
He cites Owl City, Ben Rector, John Mayer, Bruce Hornsby and Phil Collins as some of his inspirations, although it is clear that Anthony Benjamin is forging a path of his own.
