Opening swiftly with the lyrics, “I’m at the bowl game getting profit,
I keep that heat on me like a taki…”, 416DEDE sets his intentions for abundance clearly on his new single, Serving Pressure.
Delivering a gangster rap frequency with trap drums, 416DEDE demonstrates epic flow and deep lyricism as he discusses the human condition, life and his subversive reality, fused with an intricate soundscape from producer Jackson Henderson.
Lyrical highlights include the confident return to form, “I’m back serving pressure”, and the profound “Took a hit once I done learn my lesson I’ll put it all on the line”.
Serving Pressure has a refined production and was recorded and released under Damage Media Group. It serves as an autobiographical single with transcendental risers and textures detailing 416DEDE‘s flow.
The rising artist from Dallas, Texas shares “visions painted straight from his brain”. The song was created to give his fan base “something to blast in the speakers, rap along to, and share with their friends”.
Speaking on the detail of the song, 416DEDE says, “It is difficult to make music reach the majority of people because you never know who is listening and how you can reach them. But when I make my music, I stay true to who I am and how I can make an impact on the rap game by telling my stories and giving people a peek into my life.”
Serving Pressure was engineered by Jackson Henderson who has been a long time associate of 416DEDE, Henderson comments, “When we started working on the track, we weren’t exactly sure of the direction we were going to go with it. But I just let Dee do his thing and when he found his zone, he stayed in that mode for the entire track.”
We are obsessed with the record and 416DEDE‘s intricacy and vibrant flow, laced with wisdom and anecdotes! We have added Serving Pressure to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and have been exploring 416DEDE‘s wider discography including Back To Trappin.
