We recently wrote about Jeremy Engel for his introspective single, I Got Caught, so we were thrilled to hear that he had just released the brand new, Tell You Ma’!
Setting the tone with wild guitars and a pop-rock frequency that has us feeling nostalgic yet revitalized, the French-Born artist opens Tell You Ma’ with the lyrics, “See the world and don’t know where it’s going, do you ever wonder why?”
Jeremy asks to to go inward, as he leads by example, searching for the light. The song exudes passion and feelings of escapism. Speaking on the song, Jeremy says, “the anthem reflects my personal journey as a true man of the world”. Based in Ireland, the song also serves as an ode to the country.
The song may be about his love for Ireland, but the intricate guitar hooks and solos are certifiably out of this world, fused with heavy choruses and Jeremy’s wide range and soaring yet raspy rock vocals.
Recorded at Windmill Lane Recording Studios in Dublin, the new single evokes an honest and sensitive tone with a rock n roll landscape. Tell You Ma’ invites all who listen to consider what makes somewhere home for them.
We have added Tell You Ma’ to our New Music Spotlight playlist and continue streaming Jeremy Engel’s wider discography including Secret Place and I Don’t Want to Stay.
