With vibrant electric guitar, Tiyto open their debut single A Different Time with the lyrics, “Name a time, name a place, baby I just wanna make things right…”
The song expands to tell a song of seeking redemption, as our protagonist apologises and wants to make right with his muse by acknowledging his wrongs.
We love the guitar work, it is dimensional and bold, whilst epic synths immerse us as the track evolves into a more ethereal and atmospheric soundscape.
Tiyto is a four piece band from London, UK who have been developing a signature of mixing atmospheric rock with electronic and R&B stylings, and we are obsessed.
“Let me prove that I’ve learnt my lessons, that’s for certain” sings Stuart Waters as he gives us range, sensuality, emotive prowess and drama with his vocal delivery and exquisite vocal production, he also plays keys in the band, whilst Robert Waters is on drums, Max McKinstry-Hart plays guitars and Jake Howse is on bass.
The opus is transportive and we cannot wait to hear more from the rising band. A Different Time has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist.
