We first featured Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L when he teamed up with Kodie Shane on the evocative and mysterious, T.D.I.M, so we were thrilled to hear that the rising artist from Brooklyn was back with a new single, B.E.C.
Setting the vibe with a textured riser and an enigmatic melody with vocal stabs singing “yeah” and “fuck”, Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L opens the track with the lyrics, “New York, found love with the way that I talk…”. As B.E.C expands, Breon tells us what he loves and connects with, especially when you pair it with weed, and how not everyone can be a New Yorker.
Breon‘s flow is out of this world, rapid and full of clarity. We are constantly in awe of how intricate his delivery is, fused with his signature moody frequency.
“I’m way more than a God, I rap”, sings Breon assertively and with conviction. Hailing from Brooklyn, Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L has been causing a stir with his dark strain of hip-hop, and his becoming known for his smooth flows and mellower tones, often accompanied by trap beats and minimalistic melodies.
Breon‘s songwriting paints vivid pictures and dives deep into his emotions, often delivering them through a lens of seeking luxury and hedonistic experiences, but look a little deeper and there is a whole lot more to his artistry.
We have added B.E.C to our New Music Spotlight playlist and have been streaming Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L‘s wider discography including Buggin and Glass.
