Estella Dawn releases commentary on the transient nature of love with new single, Easy To Fall

Immersing us with a vibrant and playful beat, fused with the assertive lyrics “Our bed feels empty but you’re right there, breathing the same air…”, New Zealand artist, Estella Dawn, examines relationship fatigue with her new single Easy To Fall

Love can sometimes fizzle out, a connection with someone doesn’t always last forever, but it also doesn’t have to end in chaos or agony. Estella confides “I’ve always found it interesting how you can go from loving someone with every fiber of your being, to just well…. Not.”

“It’s funny how you go from being love drunk, to get out of my apartment…” sings Estella on the track as she contemplates how easy it is to fall out of love.

Easy To Fall is upbeat and optimistic, centering self love and self compassion at the core of the narrative. “Nothing ever went wrong, ever went wrong, we just died out…” she sings as the song expands into a luscious, emotive and immersive experience.

“You can’t pinpoint what’s different, nothing has really changed, but you find yourself becoming more and more distant until eventually you’re both lying in the same bed, but it feels like you’re oceans apart,” says the wise rising star when discussing the release.

Estella Dawn is a New Zealand born, US based pop artist, singer, songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist and architect of her own reality and soundscape. Her songs are thought provoking and empowering and Easy To Fall is another great addition to her already growing discography.

Her music has been compared to Halsey, Sia, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, among other strong, independent minded artists, but it is clear that Estella Dawn is creating a universe of her own.

We have added Easy To Fall to our New Music Spotlight playlist along with her single, Salt which we reviewed recently.
