Immersing us with glitched details fused into a hybrid energy of alternative rock and metal, we are already hypnotized by the latest release from QUANTUM, cleverly titled DESPERATE(LY).
Lyrical highlights include the wholesome “stop opportunism, no selfish thinking, a world of prosperity”, the amplified “faster, higher, healthier, heavier, richer, bigger, taller, smarter, optimize yourself, desperately” and the optimistic “embrace those good feelings”.
Speaking on the theme track, QUANTUM, from Zurich in Switzerland say, “DESPERATE(LY) is a plea to humanitarian behaviour for the greater good of our global society. An abandonment of opportunism and egoism. Where does this faster, bigger, stronger world lead us to?”
We love the intention that QUANTUM is sharing with the track, who describe their artistry as “joie de vivre and faith in a world in which it is becoming increasingly difficult to find one’s own place”.
We love the range of the track and the accompanying visual which features projections from iconic Disney films to amplify that sense of love energy and wholesomeness.
We have added DESPERATE(LY) to our New Music Spotlight playlist and have been immersing ourselves in QUANTUM’s wider discography including ABSOLUT, RISE and 001.
