Setting the frequency with elegant and seductive Spanish guitar and a riser, Jacqueline Loor opens her latest single, Nada Mas with the self-realized lyrics, “ahora es muy tarde, tu crees que yo soy alguien, a quien tu puedas mentir y manipular…”, which translates as “now it’s too late, you think I am someone that you can lie to and manipulate”.
As the song expands, fuelled by an enigmatic and sensual beat, Jacqueline Loor delivers luscious lyricism, enforcing her boundaries, as she sings “no quiero nada mas, nada mas de ti”. We are hypnotized.
Speaking on the intention of Nada Mas, Jacqueline says, “This song is meant to inspire women to not settle for guys who don’t treat them right. I’m all about empowering women, and this song is in line with who I am as not only an artist, but as a woman.”
The bridge of the song features the emotional lyrics, “Tu piensas que yo, no puedo vivir sin ti, al lado de mi” (you think that I cannot live without you by my side), followed by the assertive “pero quiero que veas, que sigo bailando otra vez” (but you will see, that I will go dancing once again…) as the confident artist moves on, and as time heals.
Jacqueline Loor‘s confident new release will definitely appear to fans of Karol G, Greeicy and Shakira. Nada Mas was created in collaboration with Colombain producer Enrique Lloreda, and was recorded in Tenerife.
Nada Mas has been added to our New Music Spotlight playlist and we have been exploring Jacqueline Loor‘s wider discography including her album, Show Them.
