Setting the tone with ethereal frequencies and enigmatic percussion, Tim Morrison opens his new single, Revolver with the seductive and emotive lyrics, “You’ve got a way, your eyes stole me, but lovin’ you ain’t designed, you wanna play, tonight I wanna stay, my love won’t obey desire…”
The story of Revolver is that of “being lured by temptations that result in making unhealthy choices” according to the Melbourne-based rising artist. The song expands in production fused with risers, a pulsing beat and Tim’s luxurious textured vocals.
The song features lyrical highlights delivered with immense and breathtaking emotion, including the sensual “now I’m bursting from the waist down”, the poetic “I’m caught in love again, and when I wake I form a breakdown” and the moving “the changing of your face now, revolving door again.”
Before pursuing his solo career, Tim used to front a successful rock band called Trial Kennedy, whose career highlights include being signed to Sony, recording in the USA with Grammy award-winning producer Nick Didia, to packing out venues right throughout Australia.
We love the modern electro-indie frequency of Revolver with dark synths, fat drums and soaring vocals full of emotion. The culmination the track is dramatic and epic.
We have been immersing ourselves in Tim Morrison‘s wider discography on Spotify which includes Dare Me and Come Away, and we have added Revolver to our New Music Spotlight playlist!
