Opening with glossy and vibrant guitar fused with the lyrics, “When I wake up right next to you and I stare into your eyes, my body shakes with butterflies…”, Max Edwards sets a warm emotional frequency with his new single, Heaven.
The romantic artist delivers a story about forever love as the beat drops, hooking us into this slice of luxurious love energy. We are obsessed with Max’s delivery of the hook, “When I miss you, wanna kiss you, and you haunt me, when you’re not here, girl I want you, you are my heaven…”
As the track expands, we are hypnotized by the message, and Max’s emotional quotient demonstrated in the song.
Speaking on the creation of the track, Max says, “Heaven is a song I wrote last year on Valentine’s Day. It stated as a ballad but I ended up getting it produced into a full pop song by Luke Shrestha and Simon Jay.”
“It took a while to finish the song because we wanted it to be perfect.”
Speaking about the future, Max ways, “Following Heaven, I will be releasing a single every month of the year as well as an EP in the spring and the fall!”, and we couldn’t be more excited. Meanwhile, we have added Heaven to our New Music Spotlight playlist and have been immersing ourselves in Max’s wider discography including Gravity, Sorry for the Pain and See You Around.
