Setting the tone with exquisite guitar plucks with familiar chords, played in a nuanced manner, Liad Abraham opens his release, Call Of The Sea by evoking a sense of hypnotic awe with his intimate presence and composition.
Speaking on the release of Call Of The Sea, the talented guitarist and composer says that it “was written from the standpoint of a woman, bound to her bed by her illness. She can’t visit the sea anymore, but the visions and scents of the ocean are still in her heart. Then, the mind takes a voyage to the sea.”

When discussing his inspirations, the artist based in Haifa, Israel says, “My music is inspired by folk, classical, cinematic and lately the Dark Country genre.”
We can feel that come to life on Call Of The Sea in a very elegant and refined manner. Speaking on the track, he says, “This single is taken from my third album, which is a very special, personal creation for me. The album as a whole is inspired and dedicated to my mother. She has been suffering from MS for the last twenty years, and the last year was especially hard on her, and the entire family. The album depict in musical form the journey our family has been undergoing.”

Liad Abraham is a leading Acoustic-Classical guitarist composer. He has written music for a variety of medias, including radio and contemporary dance. His guitar pieces are eclectic in style, and derive inspiration and influences from classical composers, celtic music, film scores and more. His music is featured in more than twenty five thousand playlists as well as the Spotify Editorial playlist Coffee House Classical Guitar .
Over 2020, he released twin EP’s, each painting a different musical story. Songs of Longing and Songs of Redemption. He’s also started a series of collaborations with cellist extraordinaire Roxane Genot, the first of which, Dawn’s Embrace, was featured in Classical New Releases. In October, after losing his father, he released FarAway, an album in his memory.
In 2021 he released his second album, Odyssey, Pt. I and started a series of collaborations with German singer and songwriter Alina Lesnik. Their first release, Enchanters (From “Dragon Age: Inquisition”) – Cover Version, was met with great success. Their second release will be out early 2022, a vocal version to his much beloved song FarAway.
His third studio album, “Extremely Rare, But Not Unheard Of” will debut in early 2022.
