Opening with melodic ripples and cosmic percussion, rising artist RavenRain opens her latest single, MOVING ON with some clear affirmations. It is obvious that the artist knows exactly what she wants as she sings, “keep moving and moving and moving on, keep going and going and going on, you better walk walk walk out the door, bye bye I’m gone.”
The fierce artist has delivered a self-realized, sassy, savage and empowering song which encourages us to “move on and let go of toxic people, relationships and friendships” and inspire confidence within the listener.
The track carries synth and dance-pop feel but definitely exudes an edgy energy with sickening bass to amp up confidence within the track. It reminds us a little of the Brazilian band CSS and RuPaul; artist also cites Halsey, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and different k-pop groups as her greatest influences.
RavenRain is an Italian born London-based artist who aims to empower and inspire others through her music. RavenRain is a huge Disney fan, and she was exposed to different music genres thanks to her family love for music. From Italian pop and pop-rock to classic rock such as ACDC and Queen. She developed an eclectic music taste and you can clearly hear it while listening to her music.
RavenRain says “I am a big fan of the mix and match idea, so that’s what I like to do with my music. I like to experiment and try different things. I could be considered as an outsider in every aspect of my life, and after struggling with insecurities for so many years I am extremely proud of it and I want to empower people too.”
Her latest single and all upcoming projects in 2022 are produced and mix and mastered by Ashea, who collaborated with Alan Walker.
