King Size manifests the cuisine of his dreams on new single, Once Upon a Time in Taco Bell

Setting the tone with deep arpeggiated bass, King Size opens his new song, Once Upon a Time in Taco Bell with the lyrics:

Y’all took my favorite snack
But I’m here to get it back
With a backpack full of gats
Bout to let em blast
If you wanna see your kids again
Best get on the phone
With the corporate HQ
Let ’em listen to this song
.”

It is clear that the rising artist knows exactly what he wants with his hypnotizing delivery and profound themes, juxtaposed with the arbitrary concept fast food culture.

Speaking on his art, King Size says, “I write songs for folks on food stamps ’cause I am on food stamps. I’ve never earned a living wage or experienced what boomers would call success.”

The artist, who was conceived at an Allman Brothers show, is serving subversive humour through his vision and speaking on the new release, says, “In November 2020, Taco Bell discontinued the best remaining item on their menu: the Mexican Pizza. After years of lamenting the loss of the Meximelt, I finally had enough. Something had to be done. This is my manifesto.”

The narrative of the song goes quite deep, and we experience the story of a stand-off with the police at the infamous Taco Bell. Although laced with humour, the track has a certain level of depth and commentary on society, the police, fast food and mental health.

King Size’s intention is bring the Mexican Pizza back to Taco Bell and he says, “I heard that Taco Bell might be bringing back the Mexican Pizza, so as far as I’m concerned this track is already a success.” Manifestation really works.

In addition to that success, we have added Once Upon a Time in Taco Bell to our New Music Spotlight playlist, and the hook, “I want two Meximelts and a Mexican Pizza, gimme two Meximelts and a Mexican Pizza, I want two Meximelts and a Mexican Pizza, gimme two Meximelts and a Mexican Pizza” has us hypnotized.
