Toronto’s Am3r3 cements his cyberpunk meets pop frequency on Jaded

Delivering a refined synth pop energy, Toronto-based rising artist Am3r3 has released their first single of the year, Jaded.

Jaded is a smooth and celestial journey, with bright and mesmerising production fused with textured and poetic vocal delivery.

Releasing consistency since 2020, Am3r3 is a recording artist who plays various vintage analog synthesizers to bring to life his cyberpunk meet pop frequency.

Am3r3 started making music using synthesizers after listening to the album Graduation by Kanye West. We can definitely hear that influence when Am3r3 drop the “uh” with the echo at 1 minute 53!

He got obsessed with making sounds using toy keyboards he found at a garage sale. The Canadian artist cites his main influences as Daft Punk, Tame Impala, Tyler the Creator and Prince, which we can certainly see come to life with this project!

Speaking on the track, Am3r3 says, “This song is about the feeling of losing trust in someone or experiencing and feeling different about someone that you once cared a lot about.”

“[It] is about having sleepless nights thinking about what changed what happened how could you have acted that would have changed the outcome.”
