Canadian rising band Wave 21 wants to take us ‘Way Far Back’ on vibrant new release

With intricate finger work and textured and multi-dimensional vocals, rising Canadian band Wave 21 have delivered Way Far Back as the lead single from an equally polished 10-track record, Brace Yourself (which you can stream below!).

Riffs and melodies on the record are timeless, but fused with technological futurism on a clean the mix and analogue detail. We feel great vibes and energy from the outfit who have empowering tracks on the record named, Long May Your Love, The White Wings of an Angel, Whenever You’re Near and Stay The Night.

Fronted by lead singer Mary-Lynn Doroschuk who has superstar energy in her own right but is also the daughter Stefan Doroschuk, from Men Without Hats fame, who produced both of the band’s albums past and present and officially joined the band in 2020.

Guest appearances on the record include JUNO award winner Sam Roberts who is featured on “All Over and Over”, and JUNO award winner and legendary guitarist, Steve Hill, who we can hear on Way Far Back. The presence of these icons, definitely give the record an edge! The video is directed, shot, and edited by Caylamina Roberts.

Lyricism on the whole record is introspective and optimistic, touching on the reality’s of life through a lens of hope and love energy. We can’t wait to hear more!
