You can read more features in our Music + Culture section.

NECO LONDON – Dom Top

Hard hitting, graphic and accompanied by a club visual where NECO LONDON comes to life in full form. The techno beat is pulsing and relentless, and we are obsessed with the frequency.

NECO LONDON is a rapper, music artist, and style influencer based in the UK with a genre-hopping sound spawned from the capital’s most intense underground parties and bass heavy influences from birthplace, Jamaica.

Sevdaliza – Raving Dahlia

The even visionary Sevdaliza has unveiled her EP Raving Dahlia which features singles High Alone, The Great Hope Design along with the remix of Oh My God and new songs System, Everything Is Everything, which is definitely Sevdaliza’s hyper pop era, and Human Flow.

Everything the artist creates is outstanding and we are just grateful to have a new EP to indulge in.

Central Cee – Straight Back To It

Emotive UK rapper, Central Cee has released Straight Back To It, which is the lead single from 15-track record, 23. The record has an interesting and diverse vibe, heavy but with luscious strings and even a song called Eurovision.

Orca – Situations

Setting the scene with clinking glasses and crowd noise, Situations by Orca evolves into a refined and transcendental vocal delivery where the artist sings, “sitting down thinking about my art, my heart, what I’m feeling, don’t know…”

The introspective lo-fi meets hyperpop artist, who we recently featured for their song Ghost goes deep on this cut, singing about about a truth or dare game that he saw on TikTok.

Orca is the type of artist that runs with a narrative based on instinct and allows the universe to flow through him to bring stories to life, speaking on the creation of the track, he says, “inspiration can be found everywhere around us.”

Chin Injeti featuring Iman Wamboi

Transendetal and almost mantra-like, Chin Injecti has released YUH featuring Ham Wamboi and we have it on repeat. We love the vocal textures and harmonies and depth of the track.

Chin Injeti is a Canadian creator that fuses nostalgic sounds from the 80s and adds a modern flare to create refreshing and new music. Chin been releasing his own music independently, all while writing and producing for big name artists like DrakeP!nkAloe BlaccDr. Dre, and K’NAAN to name a few. In addition, during this time, Chin Injeti has filled up his full trophy case, winning a Grammy with Lecrae, 2 with Eminem, a Juno with K’naan, and a Socan Award for Songwriter of the Year.

Charli XCX – Baby

Taking inspiration from Janet Jackson, Charli XCX has released her fourth single of this era, Baby, her final record as an artist with Atlantic. There is no denying that Charli XCX’s main pop girl era is here and we are here to stan. Love the choreography in the video and the bright pop production of the track is really mesmerizing.

The Collection – Won’t Stop Yet

NPR Tiny Desk Judge’s Pick, The Collection have just released Won’t Stop Yet – an honest pop song about “trying to survive what often feels like the end of the world.” The song opens with deep strings and the lyrics, “I’m losing my attention, while the whole world dies…” , the song is vulnerable, introspective and a valid commentary on how many people have been feeling on the planet after the last few years of Trump, COVID and war. Vocals are polished and we love the production with the strings, textures and exquisite drums.

The Prickly Pair – Rosemary

Rosemary is the heartfelt debut single from LA-based singer-songwriters Irene Greene & Mason Summit, who have already gone viral on TikTok a few times for their covers. The two join forces as The Prickly Pair, dubbed “purveyors of angsty Americana”.

“Baby I’ve been looking like, I need a stiff drink or Jesus in my life” the song opens poetically, the LA duo deliver flawless vocals and polished production. The narrative driven story telling is refined and pains a vivid picture as the duo tells the story of John and Robert Kennedy’s sister, Rosemary. Rosemary was developmentally disabled and suffered seizures and emotional difficulties. Her father had her lobotomized at age twenty-three, leaving her largely incapacitated, and she was sent away to live most of her life in an institution in Wisconsin.

Fans of Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish will vibe for sure.

Argonauta – Love Is Everything

Love really is everything and NYC -based duo, Argonauta, have created their latest release with intention to amplify that ancient knowledge.

Speaking on the lyricism, Argonauta says, “The lyrics were written for a good friend who was struggling with isolation in the early days of the pandemic, like many of us did. Little did we all know the struggle was just beginning, particularly for those of us who face mental health challenges in the best of times. We don’t think of it as a love song. We see it more as a statement of solidarity, and hopefully an encouragement.”

We love the refined melodies, introspective lyricism and textured vocals delivered by the duo. Argonauta draws influences from artists such as Radiohead, Japanese House, and Psychedelic Furs.

Smashby – Britney Spears Medley

UK rising artist Smashby has delivered a polished medley of Britney Spears covers including Everytime, Womanizer, Oops! I Did It Again, Work Bitch and Toxic. The video serves epic choreography from the artist and we can’t wait to see more.

KARRA – Obstacle

TikTok’s latest music obsession is the self-produced genius that is KARRA. Obstacle has a much awaited video that the artist has teased on TikTok and we love the way that KARRA talks us through her tracks and process. Obstacle is a dark pop anthem that allows us to choose the path that we are destined for without any obstacles. It’s really fierce pop and the production is clear and refined, we are obsessed.
