With the passion and purpose to represent autistic artists in the electronic music scene, Australian artist Jackson Pendegraf has just released their latest single, Feelings For You (Song For Diana).
The track opens with a bright pulsing and expanding beat, breathy sighs and refined synths that pan as we are introduced to the opening lyric, “I’ve got feelings for you.” We also love the AI-style artwork which lends itself well to the frequency of the track.
Jackson Pendegraf creates big, warm, futuristic electronica, sometimes for dancing and sometimes for chilling out, and Feelings For You (Song For Diana) is no exception. Pendegraf has been creating music and synthesisers (used by artists such as Flume and Depeche Mode) for years, while he searched for the secret sauce that he now adds to every track, bringing it to life and injecting a dynamic, organic energy.
Speaking on his activism in the music space, Pendegraf says, “I want to represent autistic artist and the whole other world they can (and do) bring to the electronic music scene.”
Jackson is based in Noosa, Australia and a piece of the sub-tropical South Pacific sunshine is used to warm the synths on every track. We can really feel that with the synths and vocal production. The narrative of this track is very driven by love and that adds to the euphoric dynamic created with the soundscaping.
Jackson Pendagraf’s existing discography, which you can stream below, is exhilarating, elating, euphoric and glorious. His celebratory spirit is manifested through his method of house music production and into the fibres of audiences globally. Jackson Pendagraf cites DeadMau5, RÜFÜS, Orbital as some of his influences.
