To celebrate the launch of the Louis Vuitton Townhouse at Selfridges this week, I teamed up with Vuitton to shoot the current AW13/14 collection featuring the inimitable Chapman Brothers collaboration pieces.
It was unveiled today on The Daily Telegraph (Telegraph Fashion) where writer Stephanie Hirschmiller took the time to email me and write a piece titled “Who’s that boy? Nik Thakkar”.
The digital editorial was shot at 11 Cadogan Gardens by Matthew James Arthur Payne with grooming by Merton Muaremi using MAC Pro.
The LV Townhouse opens this Friday at Selfridges London, it’s a new urban retail destination set within the historic department store – built over three inter-connecting floors with a spiral structure that penetrates the entirety of the building by French born, Japanese based designer, Gwenaël Nicolas. British artist Barnaby Barford has created a series of intricate sculptures for the Townhouse – Bounty, Cascade and Trace. Each piece is painstakingly made from thousands of ceramic and porcelain flowers, leaves and butterflies.
