Do you remember the first installment of Louis Vuitton’s L’Invitation Au Voyage (which was also the first TV campaign for the brand) starring Arizona Muse and directed by Inez and Vinoodh?
Well it’s got a sequel and it stars David Bowie.
The last thing we saw was Arizona taking off from the Louvre in the most beautiful hot air balloon you have ever seen in the history of time. Chapitre Deux is titled “L’Invitation au Voyage – Venice” where Arizona lands in Venice in the dead of night. Rumour has it that she is equally as glamorous in her strides, kitted out in timeless Vuitton where she lays eyes on the inimitable (well, that is debatable) David Bowie, who is sitting at a harpsichord. Bowie then goes on to seduce her with a version of “I’d rather be high” and then suddenly Arizona is surrounded by a whole cast of characters, each more extravagant than the next, appearing to emerge from a dream. The rest? You will have to wait and see.
The film is unveiled officially next Wednesday via the Louis Vuitton Pass app and then the following day on louisvuitton.com. In the meantime, above is a teaser image of what we can expect by David Sims. The film is directed this time by Romain Gavras.
