Following what can only be described as a taster of the collection during the New Bond Street store opening at London Collection: Men last week, Dolce & Gabbana (against all odds of the slightly concerning news of tax evasion that surfaced two days prior) just showed in Milan – and by showed, I mean, Spring Summer ’14 is by far one of the most beautiful menswear collections to grace the history of time, ever.
Walking to an original soundtrack of Ennio Morricone from “Nuovo Cinema Paradiso” by Giuseppe Tornatore, the collection drew inspiration from Sicilian mythology which led the collection to be highly focussed on tailoring – which you can see from the suits during the finale, is breathtaking.
