Last night saw the unveiling of the W London’s latest fashion partnership, this time with British designer William Tempest who created a striking set of reversible purple pyjamas. The W (in general, since it first launched in 1998 in NYC) has always been a hotel brand that continually aligns itself with fashion, and it is little initiatives like this that truly cement that ethos. By signing Tempest to create the pyjama set, the W is once again showing its commitment to supporting emerging British talent (last year they worked with Sister by SIBLING).
It you look in detail, the designs feature ‘Made in Britain’ buttons with subtle ‘Ws’ interwoven within the pinstripe. The launch took place in the newly revamped E WOW Suite with a revolving leather couch which goes for £6,000 per night. You can check it out here with images below of the collection featuring Tokumbo Daniel with William.
The limited edition pyjamas will be available for hotel guests staying in W London’s E WOW and WOW suites with a limited number available in W The Store at W London from 1st June 2013 for £175.
