Two really important Lana Del Rey related things took place today, firstly an iconic image (well technically two) from this month’s issue of Vanity Fair has surfaced. It appears to be from the same shoot that was featured a couple of months ago by Solve Sundsbo when Lana wore the £3.5million Fabergé Romanov necklace. The image brings back the Lana Del Tongue that we’ve seen a few times, notably the cover of Spex, the Ellen Von Unwerth Lovecat cover, the NY Times Terry Richardson editorial and one of the Nancy Sinatra-esque promo images from 2011.
This leads us onto part two of today’s Lana offering which is the FULL and flawless track for Young & Beautiful – the lead song from The Great Gatsby soundtrack, yes LEAD. It’s perfect, beyond perfect in fact, and almost shocking (or perhaps strategic) that it was not included on Born To Die or Paradise.

If this isn’t enough, the video for Young & Beautiful drops tomorrow, so watch this space for an update which will no doubt feature additional Gatsby footage interspersed with Lana.
