It was only a matter of time before Lana covered a Nancy Sinatra track, and she chose well. You can immediately see and hear the genuine artistry that come through with this. After releasing the Leonard Cohen cover of Chelsea Hotel No2, here is the self-directed video of Summer Wine featuring her real life boyfriend Barrie-James O’Neill of the band Kassidy who sings the part originally sung by Lee Hazlewood in 1967. It’s nice to see the raw approach and charm of her own videos that we haven’t witnessed since 2011. The original track was recently featured in the brilliant Chan Wook Park film Stoker.
