Last night saw the opening of Tom Oxley’s debut solo exhibition Face to Face: The Moving Portrait at the Londonewcastle Project Space in Shoreditch (sponsored by Patrón). Oxley is best known for his portraiture of artists including Adele, Rihanna, Coldplay, Kings of Leon, Nicki Minaj and Florence & The Machine.
The exhibition features never before seen video portrait projections of Azealia Banks, Professor Green, Mark Ronson, Wretch 32, The Maccabees, Rizzle Kicks amongst others. Each piece is accompanied by a charming credit to whatever music track the subject was listening to during the shoot.
Londonewcastle Project Space is open Monday – Friday (12pm-8pm) and Saturday – Sunday (12pm-6pm) and admission is free. Definitely worth heading down to.
