So (if you are following me on Twitter, you’d know that) last night I was at the Versace for H&M launch in NYC. As someone who has been to countless PR and marketing launches over the last few years, I was excited but wasn’t expecting anything truly mind-blowing. Boy was I wrong. The event was pretty flawless. From the crowd and celebrities attending (Ke$ha, Jessica Alba, Terry Richardson, Chace Crawford and more) to the fashion show (opening with Röyksopp’s Trentmoller remix of “What Else Is There?”) to the stunning performances from Nicki Minaj (who dedicated Moment 4 Life to Donatella barely a metre away from me) and Prince (aside from Gaga, I have never experienced a musician with such epic love and passion for his/her art) and then finally the midnight opening of the pop-up shop inside NY’s Pier 57, where I would NEVER have expected to see so many frenzied celebrities, media and journalists going crazy over the collaboration pieces. Thank you Versace and H&M for what was a pretty incredible experience.
Check out the beautifully shot “Very Best Of” video below along with some of Terry’s images from the night (Ke$ha, Donatella and Bruce Weber). I’ve included the Röyksopp remix below too.
