So literally 72 hours after the video for Judas leaked dropped, Gaga has announced that her third single – Edge of Glory (which according to a good friend who works in A&R and has had the honour of hearing it) – will hit iTunes tomorrow (1pm PDT). Here is the artwork by Nick Knight (again far better than the album cover), in true pop culture style, the track will mostly likely leak tonight, so stay tuned. Edge of Glory is a piano ballad that Gaga wrote with her father when her grandfather died. After hugely disappointing Judas sales, it doesn’t surprise me that the third single is being released in advance of the album launch on 23 May.
