You might already have heard that YouTube sensation Jeffree Star, was recently signed to Akon’s own record label Konvict Muzik. Akon was quoted as stating that Jeffree Star could be “the next Lady Gaga”, check out the short interview here.

Now it looks like it is the turn of Chris Crocker, best known for his post 2007-MTV VMA debacle “Leave Britney Alone!” video. Over 35 million YouTube views and countless pop culture parodies and references to the clip later, here is his most recent, and most likely to chart, foray into the world of pop music – and it is actually damn good. Chris is set to be “self releasing” his own album in 2011.
