This is an absolutely incredible video that transforms Rico Genest into his tattoo-free alter ego that we saw in Schön Magazine last month. Those of you who know Rico’s story will appreciate the rather brilliant anti-normalisation theme of this film. Congratulations to the creative thinking behind the Dermablend campaign in signing Rico to raise awareness of what clearly is a great product.
This month’s Schön Magazine cover stars are two major KARLISMYUNKLE favourites and it isn’t the first time they’ve teamed up! Fast becoming the fashion world’s “next big thing” (although they did sort of hit that point about six months ago), the alternative duo a la mode – Zombie Boy Rico Genest and Andrej Pejic are both featured on this month’s cover shot by Matthew Lyn (Rico) and Christos Karantzolas (Andrej). The magazine is available to buy now.

Since the Mugler collaboration and Gaga video, Rico Genest’s profile has literally exploded. Here’s hoping that it holds out and isn’t treated as just passing trend. Marcin Kempski photographed Rico for the Summer 2011 De La Garza look book, images and behind the scenes video below.
