You’re looking at possibly one of the best window displays that Selfridges has ever showcased. It is my KARLISMYUNKLE friend and favourite, haute coiffeur Charlie Le Mindu.
The window forms part of Selfridges’ Bright Young Things initiative, whereby the department store has selected 25 rising stars from the fashion and art world to promote their personal brands by creating window displays. They will also design limited edition pieces to display in three pop-up shops that will showcase the best of their collections.
Other BYTs include Alex Noble, Craig Lawrence, Frances Conteh and Patternity when the second round of Bright Young Things hits London from 4 February. Bright Young Things clothing and accessories can be found in Men’s Contemporary on the 1st floor and Women’s Contemporary on the 3rd floor of Selfridges.
