Following the digital release of “Hold It Against Me” yesterday morning (which we posted within seconds of it hitting the net on the KARLISMYUNKLE Facebook and Twitter page, which y’all should definitely show some love to), Britney Spears has shattered all previous records for the most number of spins for a first day release or any single day record at both Mediabase and BDS and is #1 on iTunes in 17 countries. In addition, Spears and HIAM have both been trending topics on Twitter for the last two days. This is groundbreaking and totally deserved. The Dr Luke and Max Martin track is beyond phenomenal and totally fresh with its dubstep middle 8. The still untitled 7th studio album from Ms Spears is sure to be HUGE. Check out a brand new campaign image below, and you can download Hold It Against Me on US iTunes here. Rumour has it that the delayed UK release (20th February) is for a “very special reason”, educated guesses would suggest a possible UK appearance that week or a featured collaboration on the track.
